A Whole New Mind: Why Right-Brainers Will Rule the Future

A Whole New Mind: Why Right-Brainers Will Rule the Future - Daniel H. Pink Great read. Check it out

Paula: A Memoir (P.S.)

Paula - Isabel Allende Oh my this is sad and beuatiful.

Blink: The Power of Thinking Without Thinking

Blink: The Power of Thinking Without Thinking - Malcolm Gladwell Loved it. Compelling psychology presented in easy to read fashion.

Robert Ludlum's (TM) The Bourne Betrayal

The Bourne Betrayal - Eric Van Lustbader Mediocre. Takes way too many liberties with teh chracter. Give it a miss

Corelli's Mandolin: A Novel

Corelli's Mandolin - Louis de Bernières Love it until the last 20 pages. What was he thinking with that ending. Poetic, gripping, fun.

Sandstorm (Anne Mather Collector's Editions)

Sandstorm (Anne Mather Collector's Editions) - Anne Mather Fun read. I would rean another by the same author.

Making Money (Discworld Novels)

Making Money (Discworld, #36) - Terry Pratchett A solid Prattchett endeavor, but not my favourite by any means.

The Pillars of the Earth

The Pillars of the Earth - Ken Follett Loved it! Epic story telling. Wonderful characters and situation. The sweeping historical features fascinate me. Do not be daunted by the thickness, it will pull you in.

Ice Station

Ice Station - Matthew Reilly A rollicking read. Very fun-adventure, science, what if...

The Shock Doctrine: The Rise of Disaster Capitalism

The Shock Doctrine: The Rise of Disaster Capitalism - Naomi Klein Reading this book made me angrier and angrier. Although Klien ties all things evil into unbridled capitalism--really it is greed--this book documents such brutal upheavals from Chile to Iraq, New Orleans to Thailand always examining them into the context of McGill Torture experiments and Chicago School Economics. Worth a read.

The 4-Hour Workweek: Escape 9-5, Live Anywhere, and Join the New Rich (Expanded and Updated)

The 4-Hour Workweek: Escape 9-5, Live Anywhere, and Join the New Rich (Expanded and Updated) - Timothy Ferriss Fun read as the author illustrates how to get out of the rat race. Not sure I liked the deceptiveness he suggests as strategies, but enjoy the stories.

Predictably Irrational, Revised and Expanded Edition: The Hidden Forces That Shape Our Decisions

Predictably Irrational, Revised and Expanded Edition: The Hidden Forces That Shape Our Decisions - Dan Ariely Fascinating read on decision making. Yeah, sure we are logical, methodical...

Red Rabbit (Tom Clancy)

Red Rabbit - Tom Clancy a prequal that disappoints with repetative writing and questionable choice of Jack Ryan's involvement.

Area 7

Area 7 - Matthew Reilly fun diversion for summer

The Lost Symbol

The Lost Symbol - Dan Brown Typical Dan Brown fun--symbols instead of art. Bugs me the role of the CIA plays in this, but still a good jaunt, especially if you have spent any time in DC.

Inside the Red Mansion: On the Trail of China's Most Wanted Man

Inside the Red Mansion: On the Trail of China's Most Wanted Man - Oliver August With a cast of characters to populate a Tom Robbins novel, sex, crime, greed and a global chase, hard to believe this is non-fiction.
